The Piast Hotel was established in 1897 and was once known as the "U Franciszkanów" hotel. It is one of the most representative hotels in Słupsk. Over the years of operation, starting from the 19th century, it hosted many famous personalities from the world of politics, science and art.
In the restaurant were recorded scenes for several films, which is an integral part of the facility. The pre-war history of the hotel was mentioned in the book "Women's Time" by the well-known German historian and writer Christan Graf von Krockow. In the 1990s it was thoroughly renovated.
